The Jefferson County Map Viewer is a web-based Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping application that displays basic land use and real property parcel information about the County. In addition to mapping the approximate location of the County's Real Property parcels, the application can display aerial imagery, limited natural resources features, and other base map coverages. A built-in query function allows users to search for parcels meeting certain characteristics.
All users are encouraged to refer to the Help instructions on the Map Viewer site to learn the appropriate navigation procedures.
Performance of the Map Viewer is limited by an end user's hardware, software, Internet connection,
and system configuration. It is recommended that a broadband Internet connection be used.
The application is not designed to be used as a full featured GIS mapping application. The Viewer is not intended to provide maps or data for any legal, engineering, or surveying uses or purposes. It is for general reference only - please see the disclaimer below. All data and maps are not maintained in a "live" state. Please see the Metadata page for information on the source and date of data and coverages. The application is regularly available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but may be taken off line periodically for maintenance and updates.
Note: City of Watertown parcel coverage and data is made available courtesy of the City of Watertown. The City maintains its own GIS website containing different coverages, data fields, and possibly more current information. This site may be accessed through the following link:
